About Us

Minds Connected Across the Globe
My Mind Elevation is an international educational platform created by a diverse group of psychiatrists, psychologists, researchers, and mental health professionals worldwide.
Although we come from different countries, cultures and professional backgrounds, we share one purpose: to make psychology and mental-health knowledge accurate, accessible and meaningful in everyday life.
Our contributors work across a range of clinical and research areas, including mental health disorders, psychological well-being, psychotherapy, neuroscience, human behaviour, relationships, cognition, social influence, and the cultural factors that shape how people experience mental health.
What we do
We translate psychological theory, clinical knowledge and research evidence into clear and engaging articles for the general public. Our work explores serious mental-health topics alongside the fascinating psychological effects, biases and illusions that quietly influence how people perceive, think, remember and behave.
We believe that reliable mental-health information should be understandable without being oversimplified. For this reason, our content aims to balance scientific accuracy with warmth, clarity and practical relevance.

Our perspective
Mental health is not experienced in exactly the same way everywhere. Culture, family, community, language, social conditions and access to care all influence how psychological distress is understood and managed.
Our international perspective allows us to consider these differences while recognising the experiences that connect people across borders. We value evidence-based practice, thoughtful discussion and respect for every person’s dignity.
Our Mission
Our mission is to:
-
Make psychology and mental-health knowledge easier to understand
-
Challenge misinformation, stigma and harmful stereotypes
-
Connect scientific evidence with everyday experience
-
Encourage curiosity about the human mind
-
Promote informed and compassionate conversations about mental health
-
Support readers in recognising when professional help may be appropriate
A Note to Our Readers
The information published on My Mind Elevation is intended for education and general awareness. It does not provide a diagnosis, establish a clinician–patient relationship or replace individual assessment and treatment from an appropriately qualified professional.
We invite you to explore, question and learn with us as we examine the mind from clinical, psychological, social and global perspectives.
Different disciplines.
Different cultures.
One shared commitment to understanding the human mind.
